Willoughby, OH (July 5, 2023) – Fine Arts Association opens new locations in Euclid and Painesville on August 21, 2023. The locations will serve existing and new students and clients from these communities and surrounding areas. The addition of these locations reflects the desire of The Fine Arts Association to increase access to quality arts programming while recognizing its need to increase capacity to serve students and clients beyond its current Willoughby footprint.
“We are very excited to partner with the City of Euclid and Extended Housing in Painesville to create new locations where individuals of all ages can create and discover beauty through the arts.” says Paul Holm, CEO. “We have been in discussion with community partners in both cities for a number of years now about how we can increase partnership and FAA’s presence. Our goal is to continue to empower the community through the arts in greater partnership with governmental, educational, nonprofit, and business community partners to increase quality of life, broaden cultural access, and elevate the ability of community to express themselves through participation in the arts.
The Fine Arts Association will initially offer programming in both communities starting with programs like Music Makin’, Art Makin’, Art Club, it’s older adult focused program Café, and group ukulele lessons. These programs provide early child, elementary, and teen programming opportunities with the goal of providing opportunities for all ages. However, due to the rapid growth of The Fine Arts Association’s Creative Art Therapies program, much of the schedule initially will be reserved to serve those enrolled in art therapy and/or music therapy. Its intention is to continually add programming in subsequent semesters that meet the needs and interests of community residents including private music, dance, summer camps, and after school programming.
Registration for classes in Willoughby, Painesville, and Euclid will open to the public on July 17, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Interested individuals may visit Fine Art’s website at www.fineartsassociation.org to view a digital catalog, view the online registration portal, or contact customer service at (440) 951-7500.
