Cottage Industry Academy, an exciting new initiative by the City of Euclid, is set to launch a comprehensive 13-class series aimed at empowering small businesses with two or fewer employees. Starting April 10th, these classes will be held every Thursday from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Euclid City Hall. Designed to cover essential topics such as digital marketing, finance, loan applications, budgeting, and more, this program is tailored to equip small business owners with the necessary skills to thrive in today's competitive market.
The Academy's mission is to support small and micro-businesses by providing vital resources and education in marketing and finance. By fostering a thriving entrepreneurial community, the program aims to help local business owners acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for business growth and sustainability. Through these tailored classes and support, the Cottage Industry Academy seeks to build a robust business base that contributes to the economic vitality and diversity of Euclid.
Each class is priced at $25, with flexible options to purchase a 5-class pass and receive one class free, or an all-access pass for all 13 classes with four classes free. This flexibility allows participants to choose the classes that best fit their business needs.
Cottage Industry Academy is excited to offer a comprehensive series of classes tailored for small business owners and entrepreneurs. Starting on April 10th, participants can learn how to leverage modern technology with a course on using QR codes effectively in their business. The following week, on April 17th, the focus shifts to email marketing strategies, while the April 24th class focuses on creating a professional business card.
As May begins, classes on creating a free business logo and brand kit using Canva are available on May 1st and May 15th, respectively. Business owners can learn to make data-driven decisions on May 8th and design professional business cards for free on May 22nd.
On May 29th, a workshop on business loans and grants will provide insights into securing financial support. As the series continues into June, classes on Instagram marketing (June 5th) and the power of networking (June 12th) will be available to enhance business visibility and connections. On June 26th, participants can explore digital advertising techniques. Finally, July offers guidance on budgeting and credit control on July 3rd, and Facebook marketing strategies on July 10th, ensuring a well-rounded skill set for every small business owner / operator.
