Shore Cultural Centre is proud to announce it has reached a significant milestone in its mission to support small businesses. The Centre is now 93% full of small business tenants, providing working spaces to a thriving community of local entrepreneurs.
This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of both the Centre's staff and the small business tenants who have made Shore Cultural Centre their home. Since the City of Euclid took the reins of the Centre several years ago, the goal has been to nurture and support small arts and culturally based businesses- this milestone is evidence of the success of that commitment. With its prime location and affordable rental rates, Shore Cultural Centre is an ideal location for small businesses to thrive and grow.
One of the newest initiatives at Shore is the Euclid Baking Collective, an opportunity to build a community of local bakers led by Marshmallow of the Month Club creator and CEO Chef Saidah Farrell .
The Euclid Baking Collective will be utilizing Shore Cultural Centre's commercial kitchen space by leasing designated spaces, allowing small baking business owners the ability to expand their operations and meet the growing demand for their products. This new partnership is a win-win for both the bakers and Shore Cultural Centre, as it provides the collective with access to a fully equipped commercial kitchen while also repurposing the culinary space to fit the current mission.
"We are thrilled to have the Euclid Baking Collective as part of our community, and we look forward to seeing these bakers, and all our current tenants succeed and grow in their home at Shore Cultural Centre," said the Centre’s manager Laura Kidder.
In addition to the Euclid Baking Collective, Shore Cultural Centre is home to a diverse mix of small businesses, including artists, musicians, and other creative entrepreneurs. The Centre also offers a range of community programs and events, including plays, concerts, and classes, making it a hub of activity and creativity in the heart of Euclid.
As Shore Cultural Centre continues to attract new tenants and support small businesses in the community, it remains committed to its mission of creating a vibrant, inclusive, and culturally rich environment for all. Whether you're a small business owner looking for a place to call home or a member of the community looking for a place to connect and learn, Shore Cultural Centre has something to offer.
