Welcome to Euclid Dillon Harris, Eric Schraibman, and Clifton Harris- Euclid Fire Departments three newest members. The addition of these three new hires brings the total number of EFD staff up to 85- the highest number we’ve had since 2002! These new firefighters also bring the number of lifetime hires for the Euclid Fire Department to 300- a milestone EFD Fire Chief Chris Haddock says the department plans on celebrating later this summer.

“Our increase in numbers represent a commitment by Mayor Holzheimer Gail to the Euclid Fire Department, and to the safety of our citizens,” said Fire Chief Haddock in his opening remarks.

Dillon Harris is a 2008 graduate of Eastlake North High School who received his fire training and certification from Cuyahoga Community College. He will complete his paramedic training this month through Auburn Career Center. Dillon joins EFD after serving as a part time firefighter for the Perry Joint Fire District.
