Sealed bids will be received at City Hall, City of Euclid, Ohio, 585 East 222nd Street, Euclid, Ohio 44123, until 2:00 P.M. on the 15th day of July, 2024 for furnishing of:
Labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the “Recreation and Wellness Facility” in accordance with the plans and specifications as listed in the documents downloadable below.
Interested bidders may obtain plans, specifications and bid documents by entering their information below to register to receive a bid packet. After registering, bidders will receive a link to download the project documents.
Pursuant to the requirements of City of Euclid Ordinance 109.025 a project labor agreement by and between The City of Euclid and The Cleveland Building and Construction Trades Council and Its Affiliates is in place for this project.
A Pre-bid Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 25th, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. in Council Chambers at the City of Euclid Municipal Building, 585 East 222nd Street, Euclid, Ohio. Attendance is recommended, but is not required, for Contract awarding.
Bids will be opened and read into the record at the Board of Control meeting on Monday, July 15th , 2024 at 4:00 PM. The Board of Control meets in Council Chambers at the City of Euclid Municipal Building, 585 East 222nd Street, Euclid, Ohio.
Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guarantee and Contract Bond in accordance with Sections 153.54 and 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. A bond for the full amount of the bid or a certified check, cashier’s check or letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the bid. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The sum equal to ten percent (10%) of amount bid, payable to the City of Euclid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured.
Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein.
Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity.
COST ESTIMATE: General Contract Cost Estimate of $12,507,305 and Alternate 1 Estimate of $7,500.
All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, Contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code.
Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Cuyahoga County and the City Euclid, Ohio as determined.
