LEARN TO SKATE (AGES 3+) 
2024-2025 Season

C.E. Orr Arena offers three regular sessions of Learn to Skate, which last for 5 or 6 weeks. Our fourth and final session focuses on a routine showcasing the skills learned from this season at our end-of-year Showcase. Our lessons are open to ages Three years and older and all abilities. Our classes are taught under the USFSA Basic Skills format.

Registration:

• Session 1
• $45 Residents | $60 Non-Residents
• Session 2 & 3
• $50 Residents | $65 Non-Residents
• Power Skating Drop-in Rate | $10

Skate Rental is not included in lessons. If skate rental is needed, you can purchase a single Ticket for $3 or $15 for a Skate Punch Card for 7 punches.

Tuesday Sessions

Try Learn to Skate for FREE | September 24th | 6 PM - 7 PM | REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Session 1 | October 1st - October 29th (5 Weeks)

Session 2 | November 5 - December 10 (6 Weeks)

Session 3 | January 7th - February 11th (6 Weeks)

Session 4 | February 18th - March 25th (6 Weeks - Showcase on the 25th)

Tuesday Evenings

5:30 pm | Tot Hockey, Instructional Hockey 1 & 2, Snowplow 1, Basic 1

6:00 pm | Snowplow 2-4, Basic 2-4, Teen/Adult

6:30 pm | Basic 5-6, Pre-Free, Free 1-6, Instructional Hockey 3 & 4, Power Skating

If not enough teens/adults register for the Teen/Adult Class, participants will be placed in a suitable class based on their skill level.

We will do our best to accommodate all skating levels at scheduled times but due to participation numbers, some groups may be combined. 

Open Skate

Stay after class for our 1-hour Open Skate for a special Learn to Skate rate for participants of the current class at $3 admission.

Learn to Skate Session 4 - Broadway on Ice Showcase

Session Highlights:

• Duration: 6 weeks (February 18th - March 25th)
• Showcase Date: March 25th (the grand finale of your hard work and talent!)
• Session Structure: Each week, enjoy a 1-hour session, with 30 minutes dedicated to lessons and 30 minutes of fun practice and learning.
