On Tuesday, October 19th the City of Euclid welcomed Praxis by Landmark Recovery to their new location at 19350 Euclid Ave. Mayor Kirsten Holzheimer Gail, Ward 1 Councilwoman Stephana Caviness, Euclid Chamber of Commerce Director Dana Heil and several representatives from Euclid city government and EPD had the opportunity to tour Praxis and see their new facility space. Our Euclid team also met with Praxis Executive Director Mari Willis plus other members of Praxis leadership to officially welcome this exciting new addition to our city.
This third location for Praxis will join their current facilities in Indiana and Kentucky in creating an experience for Medicaid patients that mirrors the treatment options afforded by private insurance. The new facility, welcoming patients starting November 2nd, will have a total of 60 beds available for inpatient drug and alcohol treatment as well as a variety of outpatient addiction services including detox treatment and partial hospitalization programs. Praxis prides itself on having “a culture of caring” and believes quality services should be available to any person struggling with addiction.
“This building has a long history of caring” says Mayor Holzheimer Gail of this location, the nearly 100-year-old former site of the Rose-Mary Center “and we’re happy to see that commitment of caring continue with Praxis.”
Praxis will employ a staff of 50 at their opening and hopes to expand quickly offering careers for clinicians, all levels of nursing, and entry level patient engagement specialists. Please visit Praxistreatment.com for more information about careers or drug and alcohol treatment programs.
