Euclid Celebrates Martin Luther King and National Day of Service

Mayor Gail encourages residents to serve their neighborhoods.

In 1994, Congress passed the King Holiday and Service Act, designating the Martin Luther King Jr. Federal Holiday as a national day of service. In honor of Dr. King, I’d like to encourage all Euclid residents to take some time this month to volunteer to help others, perform a service for your neighborhood and/or find an unexpected way to be kind to a neighbor. I applaud all of the creative ways I hear about how our residents pull together. I would love to hear about what you did, any opportunities for service, or if an act of service has touched your heart and you have a story to share.
