Affordable Housing VISTA: Empower Neighborhoods in Euclid
Ready to make a real impact? Join Euclid Development Corporation (EDCOR) as an AmeriCorps VISTA member and help transform lives through affordable housing initiatives. EDCOR has been a pillar of the Euclid community for over 40 years, providing down payment assistance and low-interest home improvement loans to low-to-moderate-income families. Now, we need your marketing and branding skills to take our mission to the next level.
As our Affordable Housing VISTA, you can grow both personally and professionally while making a real difference in the lives of Euclid residents. You'll collaborate with a supportive and inclusive team of passionate professionals who value creativity, innovation, and work-life balance.
We're looking for a talented individual with the following skills:
- Experience in marketing, branding, and/or communications
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
- Knowledge of website design and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace)
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Familiarity with proven methods across social media platforms
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Passion for community development and affordable housing
This is a full-time, one-year position starting in September 2024. As an AmeriCorps VISTA member, you'll receive a living allowance, health benefits, and an end-of-service award (either a cash stipend or an education award). You'll also have access to professional development opportunities and join a nationwide network of passionate individuals committed to community service.
We offer a flexible and supportive work environment that values work-life balance and encourages professional development. If you're a creative, driven problem-solver with a knack for storytelling and a commitment to making a difference, this is the opportunity for you. Join our dedicated team and gain hands-on experience in the affordable housing sector.
To apply, please submit your resume, a brief cover letter explaining your interest in the position, in our online application by July 26, 2024.
We encourage applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
