Thanks to a new partnership between the City of Euclid Income Tax Department and the Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA) there will be new services available to assist you in filing your City income tax.  Effective February 1, 2021, RITA will begin collecting and administering municipal income tax for the City of Euclid in partnership with the Euclid Tax Department (this includes both current and prior tax years). 

The City of Euclid chose to partner with RITA for its ability to modernize and improve services to residents and businesses. You will now be able to utilize secure ePayment and eFiling capabilities so you can file from the comfort of your home. The City of Euclid Income Tax Department will use RITA’s proprietary technology to assist you and also to help maximize the city’s tax collection efforts. 

Residents may choose from the following options to file or for service depending upon your preference:

• Residents may visit the Euclid Tax Department located at 585 East 222^ndSt. Euclid, OH 44123 (Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm)
• Residents may call the City of Euclid Tax Department at 216-289-8360 (Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm)
• Residents may utilize RITA’s electronic filing and payment system as it is fast, secure, and simple to use. For tax forms and eServices, please visit ritaohio.com.
• Residents may call RITA at 440-526-0900 Ext. 5002 for the Customer Service Center (Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm). Extended Hours will be available during filing season. 
• Residents may call RITA at 440-526-0900 to use the 24/7 automated phone system to obtain account details, make payments, check balances and check the status of refunds.
• Residents may send information by mail to RITA’s secure lockbox center at RITA P.O. Box 477900 Broadview Heights, OH 44147-7900.

Euclid Tax Administrator, Nick Caplick, reports that “the Euclid Tax Department is excited about this partnership as it allows us to modernize our tax collection processes, add services our residents have asked for, and continue serving our residents right here in City Hall.”
