WIRE-Net is a nonprofit economic development organization with a strong emphasis on manufacturing that accompanies economic prosperity. WIRE-Net recognizes the strong manufacturing base of Greater Cleveland and seeks to improve the community through investing. Using in-depth resources, such as Supply Chain assessments designed to help employers target their desired workforce. Alongside the Cleveland Industrial Retention Initiative (CIRI), the main objective is to help Cleveland strengthen its manufacturing base. WIRE Net provides manufacturing employment help for adults and youth. 

• For the Adult Workforce, WIRE-Net provides experts on staff with recruiting experience. WIRE-Net provides workforce strategies designed to fill “gateway jobs” for clients, that promotes advancement and career coaching.

• A continuous stream of qualified workers is always needed for continuous manufacturing work. WIRE-Net is prepared to meet such demands through partnerships with secondary institutions, to give youth an opportunity to gain experience in manufacturing, and for employability beyond the classroom.For the youth workforce Curriculum Enhancement, WIRE-Net has a partnership with Max S. Hayes High School’s Trades and Career Tech classes to develop learning experiences that integrate academic courses with community partners.
