Master Plan

In 2016 the City of Euclid was awarded a Master Planning process prepared by the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission. A Master Plan inventories current conditions, outlines a community’s vision for the future, and then describes concrete, specific action steps community leaders can undertake to accomplish that growth and development.

The public process to develop the Plan included a survey sent to 1400 randomized households, three public meetings and follow-up online questionnaires, and multiple work sessions of both the Steering Committee – composed of City Officials, residents, business owners, and other community stakeholders who were selected through a competitive process – and the Project Team composed of City Administrators and Staff.

On February 5, 2018 Euclid City Council adopted the Euclid Master Plan setting in motion programs and projects to be implemented over the course of the next decade.
